Can you believe we are half way through January? I know! It has been a rough couple of weeks here at "Casa Castro".
Christmas, New Year's and moving...it has been hectic.
I missed you guys :)
Before the move, I shared with you a little DIY project I was working on. My much loved walnut dresser was in need of a little update. The inspiration came to me after finding the most amazing drawer pulls at T.K. Maxx (T.J. Maxx, if you're in the U.S.A)
They are brass, with faux zebra fur.
I decided, after much debate, that the best course of action was to spray paint it black, but leave the doors and drawers, in the original, walnut wood finish.
Let me tell you, the result is even better than I expected! Now to get to the pink bird wallpaper replaced! That's next on my list.
